Today I heard every detail of the Obama Inaguration. We leave the tv on all night at work, so we hear the news over and over. So I heard about the speech, the oath of office, the parade, the balls, the size of the bow on Aretha's hat, the song Beyonce sang for the inagural first dance, the celebrations worldwide, the paraphenalia for sale, the millions of people on the mall, the shortage of port-o-pottys, blah blah blah!
I love our new president's ideas. I love his character. I'm excited about the years to come with him at the head of our country. But I'm tired of the hype. Perhaps it will die down soon.
Or I could just turn off the tv.
Hey, Kat, Heather called last night. We can't do anything this weekend, but can we aim for further out. Thanks for the comment about the snippets. I wondered how weird that would seem for someone else to read. Also, I love your blog and that you are trying new things. :) I think I managed to avoid most of the most around the inauguration. I watched it, then avoided watching it again throughout the day. Why don't you and Heather get together and pick several weekends that will work for you guys and then Bec and I can let you know which ones work for us! :)
