Traveling home

Today I drove from Lansing to Hartford City without stopping. It wasn't a very exciting new thing of the day, but I was pleased with my gas mileage. I stopped at home for just a few hours and then drove back to Indy for work.

I had a good time listening to This American Life in the car. LOVE it! The highlight for me was a short story by Lydia Davis called "Break it Down". It's the most beautiful and poignant piece I've heard in a very very long time. It's all about trying to measure a relationship in data instead of emotion, but Davis paints a gloriously emotional picture. It's prose to be savored. PLEASE READ IT!
