Billing

This morning I learned how to do billing. Since we're a nonprofit, we rely on other people's money to keep our shelter running. Apparently the township trustees give us money to pay for our residents' room and board, and this money is based on how many days they've been here. So it's now part of my job to verify the number of days, the number of children the client has with her, and which township she used to live in. Then I send out bills. I'm sure the novelty will wear off and I'll get sick to death of billing, but for now it's a nice change of pace.
