Why is that? Does it have to do with the way boys and girls are socialized? Girls are encouraged to be nurturing in their play (dolls, playing house, etc.) while boys are encouraged to use energy and be strong (running around, sports, competition, etc.). Does this socialization contribute to the generalization that men are disconnected and emotionally unavailable?
