Today I went to Red Lobster with my friend Allie. We noticed that their dinner music was completely incongruent with the seaside theme. So in the spirit of keeping things interesting, we decided to help them out.
We put together a list of 35 sea shantys, songs about surfing, ballads of the ocean, and water music. We even got our waiter involved! Apparently this guy hated the music to the point of depression and lower productivity. He loved our list so much he insisted we speak to his manager. Um...we did, but we were informed that the Red Lobster francise has a special satellite radio program which cannot be messed with. Or what? He wouldn't tell us. Very shady.
Did you at least get another basket of cheddar biscuits out of the deal?
